About our mission

 The Giving Spirits Foundation is a public foundation that was created by the founder of The Women’s Wine & Dine® as a formal way to continue the fundraising and awareness efforts to the communities’ smaller charities by means of donating money and promotional assistance.

 Over the 3 years since the WW&D was created – through Grape Ventures LLC upwards of $40,000 mostly in cash but also and kind has been provided to a variety of charities in the Baltimore and Delaware area.

 The charities we tend to seek out to support are smaller, with fewer board members and critical needs for both visibility and cash. Though there is a wealth of worthy organizations and it is hard to single out whom to choose to support – the Foundation has determined that it will focus its efforts on a critical need basis as well as favoring organizations that support women’s, children’s and family centric issues.

The foundation is headed by

 Monyka Berrocosa – President

L. Content Mc Laughlin – Treasurer and Vice President

Leslie Greenly Smith – Secretary and Vice President

 The foundation will be forming an external advisory board and we welcome any interest to participate and/or further support our mission.

 Primary funding comes from portion of proceeds of events produced by The Women’s Wine & Dine & 10 Gross Revenue Share of MyCity4Her.
