Grape Ventures LLC
Media, Production,
Consulting
M started her Mid-Atlantic business,
Grape Ventures LLC, in 2000. Her company began as a small wine event and
education service, primarily focused on private parties, corporate functions
and association meetings. Over time, her adeptness at Public Relations,
Media, Marketing and Promotion - attracted the attention of many of her
clients - many of which happenned to be business owners, and by happenstance
more than intent - she soon found herself providing promotion & media
consulting on a sporadic basis as more and more clients asked for her help.
Grape Ventures - Unique Concepts
 |
In 2003 Grape Ventures founded
B.I.G.(Business-Inspiration-Girlfriends) an
alternative networking and support solution for independent business women
in the Baltimore area. The group grew to have roughly 50 local

blossoming business, despite the success of the group - she was forced to
put it on the back burner for a while. |
 |
In 2004 - Grape Ventures launched an
extremely successful business concept called
The Women's Wine & Dine©
(recently named the 5th largest business networking organization by
the Baltimore Business journal and counting a news listing membership of
over 5,000 women in the Baltimore, greater Maryland, DC, Delaware and
Northern Virginia areas. |
 |
In 2005 - Grape Ventures produced
"Be the Star" - The largest women-only wine
event ever held in the Baltimore region. It was attended by over 200 women |
 |
In 2006 - Grape Ventures published the
book "One Sip at a Time" - an unedited,
creative non-fiction book about M's life and experiences. The book was
extremely well received and plans for a follow up novel are in the works. |
 |
In 2007 - Grape Ventures produced the
first milestone Today's BusinessWoman™ event.
The event, attended by over 68 influential Baltimore and Washington based
businesswomen was so successful that plans for a follow up event are
slated for fall 2007. |
 |
In 2007 - Grape Ventures launched
MyCity4her -intending to provide women in business with an online media
resource and community for local women-owned and managed businesses in the
area; the online community also includes an integrated resource center for
single working mothers. This concept is the first of its kind in the area
